CHOLESTEROL SCREENING
Cholesterol screening is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Ransom County Public Health Office.  Fasting is required, results in minutes.  No  appointments necessary.
SMITHSONIAN EXHIBIT
The Smithsonian Institute’s exhibit “Journey Stories” is free and open to the public at the Enderlin City Auditorium from May 30 through July 11.  Hours are from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
MCLEOD MUSEUM OPENING
The summer schedule for the McLeod Museum will be the afternoons of the first Sunday of the month, hours 2 to 4 p.m., June 7, July 5, and August 2.  It is also scheduled to be open Saturday, July 4, and Saturday, August 15.  If a group wishes to visit the museum at another time, it can usually be opened by special appointment by calling 439-2516; 439-0057; 439-2207, or 439-2552.
RANSOM COUNTY SEEKS FOSTER PARENTS
The Ransom County Social Services is seeking foster parents. Please contact Terry D. Brown, LSW at 701-683-5823 ext. 135 if you have an interest in, or questions about, becoming a foster parent. A public orientation meeting will be scheduled if there is an interest.
DRIVER’S LICENSE EXAMINER
The driver’s license examiners are in Lisbon on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month for tests and renewals at the Lisbon Armory from 8:40 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
JOB SERVICE NO LONGER IN LISBON/ENDERLIN
Job Service will no longer be in Lisbon or Enderlin on a regular basis. Appointments may be made by calling the Fargo Job Service Outreach Program at 1-800-247-0985.

The Lisbon Annual School Board meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the HS conference room.
RANSOM COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Ransom County Historical Society meets the third Monday of every month through October, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ransom County Museum, Fort Ransom.  New members are always welcome!
OPERA HOUSE BOARD MEETING
There will be an Opera House board meeting the third Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Opera House.
RIVERFRONT MEETING
Riverfront meetings are held the third Monday of every month at the U.S. Forest Service building at 7 p.m.
